Learn Arabic Language
The official language of Tunisia is Standard Arabic, however
most people speak a local dialect known as Tunisian Arabic. Additionally
there is a small minority of Berbers who speak the Berber language of Shelha.
Due to the country's past as a colony of France,
the French language, although
it has no official status, is also important.
Most Tunisians are in fact able to speak French,
and the language is widely used in business, the press and in education.
